Our Women's Loafers tend to fit best on narrow to medium width feet, but do stretch beautifully width-wise to accommodate most widths. They run true to size, so order what you would normally order for dress shoes or loafers.

When we were in Istanbul early this spring, we came across this gorgeous (and so wearable) silk Ikat and decided to make a small run of shoes out of it.

We absolutely love this style as an alternative to heels, and how it looks with white jeans, dresses...pretty much everything!

This collection is limited to 20 pairs.

Our Story

Ours is a love story; a magical carpet ride started in 2007 when designer Milicent Armstrong first fell in love with shoes and bags made from vintage Kilim carpets on a trip to Istanbul.

Craftsmanship

At Artemis Design Co., our chain of production is hands-on and handmade. Our kilim products are crafted from hand-sourced vintage textiles, and each pair of shoes takes two full days to create.
