For men, we recommend ordering the size that is 3-4 inches larger than your usual pant size. Please refer to our conversion chart below for our recommendation.

Women's Belt Sizing

Since pant sizes vary greatly between women’s brands and styles (hiphuggers versus high waisted, for example), we recommend that you use a tape measure to find the measurement of where you would like to wear your Artemis belt, and refer to our sizing chart below. Please make sure to measure on top of whatever pants or clothing item you will be wearing the belt with, for an accurate fit. Our chart below refers to the size range that each belt will fit (the tightest, and the widest holes). So if you measure 32 inches, you will probably want to take a size 32 in our belt, since 32" fits nicely in our 31.35"-34.24" range.

Kilims are a style of textile traditionally crafted on Turkey's Anatolian peninsula, primarily woven from wool on a cotton ground. Kilims are flat-woven, featuring a thin, tight weave that make them a perfect textile for crafting shoes and accessories. Every symbol, color, and pattern woven into the Kilim has meaning and represents a hope, a dream, or a story from the life of the weaver.

Each of our Kilim pieces is handmade from vintage, one-of-a-kind Turkish carpets, which means that no two will ever be alike. We photograph each item individually, so what you see on the product page is exactly what you'll receive.

FAQs

Since our products are made from vintage textiles, each pair we make is completely unique! Even two pairs cut from the same carpet can look very different depending on placement of the pattern, borders vs. interior, etc.

The carpets themselves are vintage, generally with some sort of damage that makes them no longer suitable for use in a home. We repurpose the intact parts as shoes and accessories.

Yes! We photograph each one-of-a-kind product individually, so the two main images at the very top of the page are exactly what you'll receive. Any additional images and videos are other examples of the same style, just to show you what it looks like in action.
